Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 教育學系 === 95 === The purpose of this study aimed to investigate the relationship between principal’s transformational leadership, and teacher’s organizational commitment in elementary schools. The study adopted literature review and questionnaires as the research methods. The subjects include 577 teachers in certain public elementary schools in Taichung county. The collected data are analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and product-moment correlation. The conclusions of this study are as following: (1)The general situations of principals’transformational leadership show positive response. (2)The general situations of teacher’s organization commitment show positive response. (3)Teachers of different genders, educational backgrounds recognize that there is no difference in terms of principals’ transformational leadership. (4)Principal’s transformational leadership scores higher in schools where teachers have more teaching experiences or there are 25 to 36 classes. (5)In terms of teacher’s organization commitment, there is no difference in teacher’s genders and school magnitude. (6)Teachers who have more teaching experiences or teachers who take administration jobs have higher scores in teacher’s organization commitment. So do those teachers who graduate from universities of teacher’s education. (7)Principal’s transformation and teacher’s organization commitment show positive correlation.
