Instruments for this study include “the analytical and statistical table concerning content of teaching resources”, “the analytical and statistical table concerning reference linking websites” and “the outline for interviewing science teachers in elementary schools about the use of school websites and demands”. In the process of developing these three instruments, researcher invited two experts to assess the content validity and then researcher adopted K coefficient of agreement, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and overall reliability to examine the consistency between scorers. Analytical results showed that reliabilities are consistent with each other to a great extent. By analyzing the content of websites, researcher found that: (1) The number of providing “teaching resources” was 233. The number of providing “subject content resources” was 125 and most schools offered “plants”. The number of providing “teaching materials” was 108 and most schools offered “worksheet”; (2) The number of providing “reference linking websites” was 488 and the total number of providing links was 1271. The number of providing “natural science—special areas” was 473 and most links are related to “animals”. The number of providing “natural science—comprehensive areas” was 138 and most links are related to “comprehensive sciences”. With regard to the “area of comprehensive subject”, the total number was 660 and most links are related to “teaching websites”. Results from interviews showed that science teachers thought that teaching resources and reference linking websites related to natural sciences in schools’ websites were not enough and related content should be supplemented. Finally, researcher made several suggestions to personnel responsible for maintaining websites of elementary schools, educational administration organizations, science teachers in elementary schools and research in the future for reference.
