Methods: Sixteen women weightlifting athletes who study in Gu-Shan high school Kaohsiung completed an eight weeks regimens ( gather and spread training regimens specific at stanch, clean and Jerk, front squat, back squat, wide pull, narrow pull, push forward, back wide push forward). The specific muscle strength, lactate production after squat and performances in weightlifting competition were observed. Results: (1) There were significantly increased ( before vs. after ) specific strength in spread group (front squat : 77.75±18.80 kg vs. 87.25±13.81 kg, P<.05 ; upper truck 48.68±10.55 kg vs. 53±9.87 kg, P<.05. ). (2) There were significantly increased ( before vs. after ) maximal lactate production in gather training regimen ( 0.556±.0142 mmol/l vs. 0.076±.0190 mmol/l, P<.05 ) and gather training regimen ( 0.666±.0108 mmol/l vs. 0.076±.0212, P<.05) .Conclusions: Weightlifting combines technique and muscle strength. Narrow dead lift ( mostly waist strength related to the performances) is the basic movement of stanch, clean and jerk. Both gather and spread training regimens are improved the performance significantly for adolescent women weightlifting athletes in weightlifting competition.
