The Purpose of this study was to explore the experience of sexual life of unmarried female students in the university. This study was conducted by the descriptive phenomenological method. Data were collected through one-on-one interviews with eight female students. All data were documented in the form of recording and were dictated. The data were classified and categorized, based on Colaizzi’s content analysis.
The result showed the experience of sexual life of unmarried female students in the university could be summarized as the following five themes: They soaked in the pleasant feeling of sexual life；They want sex without pregnancy; Contraception right is in their hand；After passion, they’re worried about the possibility of pregnancy; Since mistakes have been done, they have no choice but swallow the bitter fruit.
The findings of this study could provide the references of the teaching contents of sexual education, to counsel students, to draw up the social policies for parent, teachers, counselors and the government. Than to promote the safe sex and to protect unmarried female students on women health.
