Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 機械與機電工程學系研究所 === 95 === Arc metal welding is a long established technique, which has been applied in a lot of research. However most of the research mainly focus on welding the same material instead of welding dissimilar materials. To be specific, they made more efforts on the non-reversible chemical change, phase transform, heat transfer than on the thickness effects of the welding materials. To remedy the research, the present study focused on the thickness effect of the welding of same materials and the welding of dissimilar materials.
In this study, 304 stainless steel were used as the welding plate for the same metal welding simulation. In the dissimilar metal welding simulation, 304 stainless steel and copper oxide were used as the welding plate. By using aluminum oxide as the welding bead, the researcher simplified a regular three dimensional shape of the welding plate into a two dimensional one.
The researcher applied the non-linear thermal-structure to do a transient analysis. Finally, he compared the residual stresses of same metal welding and dissimilar metal welding under different thickness plates.
