This new concept was aware until 2000 in Japan. In Taiwan, the government began paying attention on this activity two years ago, and to stretch a new type of traveling market on the pensioner tourists in domestic and Japanese area. In this study, the investigation and analysis about the development and experiment of Long Stay activities in domestic and international area were studied from the paper survey, initially. Second, the communes’ attitude and project for Long Stay activity in their community were done by visiting and interviewing the recreation farms and owners of homestay in Meinong town. Meanwhile, the questionnaire investigation was done to comprehend the attraction and accommodation of this town and what demand and suggestion should be fulfilled for developing the Long Stay. Furthermore, the proposal also proposed by analyzing the potential advantages and realistic limits in this town with SWOT concept. Furthermore, the results will be provided to Meinong town Administration Office and relevant industry for the development strategies of Long Stay activity in the future. In the result, we find the lack of executive experience, imperfect proposal of tourism, distributed locations of scenic spots and inadequacy of resource integration in the development of Long Stay activity in the initial stage. These imperfections caused the main evaluation, which included nature landscape, experience of Hakka’s traditional custom and living leisure with health care, was not coordinate to the original anticipation. However, combing the nature field landscape, plentiful Hakka’s culture, support of the government, and study from developing experience of Puli Town and other countries, the Long Stay activities can be developed actively in the future. Finally, the following eight suggestions of executive strategy are proposed for the government, folk enterprise and community resident to develop the Long Stay activity in Meinong town: 1. Develop actively the long stay activities with advancing strategy. 2. Execute the rural cultural creative industries and the experienced activities of rural farming. 3. Mould the custom characteristics of Hakka in Meinong town. 4. Encourage the journey fashion for attending the long stay recreation in Meinong town. 5. Customize the long stay recreation to Japanese. 6. Promote the function of health care in the operation of long stay activities. 7.
