It can reduces the cost of fermenting and breathing equipment within the compost aerobic fermentation process. However, the compost oxygen fermentation process always uses the methods such as agitation and aeration to offer oxygen to the aerobic microbe. Nevertheless, the process usually increases the spill-over of smelly gas; and the microbe increase greatly during the period of compost fermentation that may produce too much carbon dioxide by the respiration and spill-over may reinforce the greenhouse effect. In order to overcome the problems which produced by the process of compost, we used the character of compost deodorization to install induced draft fan deodorization system for tractor side-mounted type compost turner; when the turner was doing the turning work, the draft fans inhaled and exhausted the offensive gas out to the back of the turner. Therefore, the smelly gas covered by the falling compost material which made the smelly gas treated by the microbe deodorization of the compost material, and it then decomposed and transformed by the microbe. The smelly gas therefore can decreased and reduced the spill-over. After that, it compared with the ordinary turning with the condition of ammonia fume and carbon oxide decrease. The result showed that the draft fan deodorization system in base experiment which installed 4 groups of draft fan on exhaust duct respectively. Thus, it can kept the pressure of the exhaust opening in balance. The exhaust opening must be set in the two sides of the back machine where compost was falling, and the height from the land should be 200 mm, and the distance from the highest position of the compost turner arm, which made the compost discharged conveniently after turning, and cover the gas exhausted from the exhaust opening. In the angle of fan experiment, when it is more than 60 degrees, the indraft opening may be measured stablly, and the wind speed measured at each exhaust opening was balance and plenty. The field experiment results showed that, the tractor side-mounted type compost turner compared with the ordinary turning can decrease 40% ~ 52% ammonia fumes and 15% ~ 38% carbon oxide concentration while the deodorization system was working. In addition, after placed compose of turned for 30 minuets, we measured the ammonia fumes concentration in compost center. The data indicated that the ammonia fumes concentration of compost center used deodorization system was 1.3~1.4 times compared with the ordinary condition. It demonstrated that the usage of deodorization system can inhaled and exhausted the smelly gas produced by the turning to the back of the turner, and it also could used the turning material to cover it. The results also indicated that installed the indraft deodorization system on the tractor side-mounted type compost turner can decreased the spill-over of the ammonia fumes, carbon oxide, the environmental pollution, and it could ensured the workers’ health in the field. For the organic material waste treatment factory, it also can saved the cost of building fermenter and deodorant treatment equipment. For the organic material waste treatment factory, it also can saved the cost of building fermenter and deodorant treatment equipment.
