This study was according to the reference of domestic and external researches that investigated recreational trail impacts and factors currently, and used this references researching of the impact factors as index to develop the impact assessment methods and apply these methods to assess recreational trail impact in the future. The research method of this paper used is taking the PDA loaded in the SuperPad software and the global position system to collect trail impacts. The basic data collected at the trails, including the trail of surface, slope, length and width. The impacts of the recreation trails must to assess includes the ratio of widening, multiple tread and root exposure, and the problem indicators used is problem frequency, problem length and problem width. This research result shows in Kenting National Park, the scenic spot have most serious widening impact is the Eluanbi Park that the total sampling number of times is 15, the region have multiple tread most seriously is the Kenting Forest Recreation Area that the total sampling number of times is 13, and the most seriously region of plant root exposure is the Sheding Nature Park that the total sampling number of times is 19. The relation of trail surface and trail impact, it has high relativity that the brick treads with trail widening, multiple tread. The original surface treads and root exposure impact has high relativity. The relation of trail slope and impact, it has highest relativity to the trail slope between 0° to 5° with trail widening impact. The multiple tread and the plant root exposure haven't high relativity with trail slope. The circularity with impact frequency has the highest relativity, and then the connectivity is not obvious.
