碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 森林系所 === 95 === This research discusses how the effects of empowerment, emotional intelligence and the performance for community leaders to perform community forestry projects. Research data are collected from the community leaders whose community had jointed the community forestry project. Results show that community leaders with different education background have significant difference on the performance of community forestry projects. Leaders with bachelor degree have lower implementation effect on performing the projects than leaders with high school degree. Leaders with 1-3 years experience have higher other’s emotional appraisal than leaders with 7-9 years experience. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The findings based upon the analysis showed that the goodness of fit of the model was well, namely that the causal model was supported.
