Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 95 === In this thesis, the effects of the magnetic pressures, applied area and pulse time on electromagnetic forming of different mental tubes are explored using a nonlinear dynamic finite element model. The tube materials discussed are Al-Al, Al-Cu, Al-Brass and Al-Stainless Steel. The feasibility of the proposed finite element model is verified by comparing the results obtained from the simulations and experiments. The numerical results indicate that the required minimum magnetic pressures of the tube electromagnetic forming for different materials are about the same. The results also show that the adhesion area between the inner and outer tubes after electromagnetic forming increases with the pulse time and the pressure applied area. Meanwhile, a higher magnetic pressure or a shorter pulse time may result in a corrugation on the tube adhesion surface.
