Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 95 === The main purpose of this research is to investigate and analyze the relationship between network administrators ‘s information literacy and computerized school administration in elementary schools in Pingtung county. It also offers suggestions, according to the research results, to educational authorities, elementary schools, and future researchers as reference.
This research adopts several methods such as document analysis, questionnaire survey and interview to collect and analyze information. The documents include the related researches both on the domestic and overseas information literacy and on computerized school administration while the questionnaire survey uses method of census. 166 network administrators in public elementary schools of Pingtung county are the subjects for this research. The instrument for it is the self-made questionnaires. They are analyzed by SPSS10 Chinese version and compile statistics with mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s product moment correlation. At last the teachers who are in charge of network in elementary schools and Pingtung Educational Network Center are interviewed to talk about their work and perspective for the future.
This study reaches six conclusions based on the results of statistical analysis:
1. For the network administrators in elementary schools in Pingtung, their information literacy is above middle level. And among many layers of the information literacy, Information Ethics performs the best; Information Perceived Reality , Information Application and Information Platform are yet satisfying ; Information Integrated needs improvement.
2. Computerized School Administration in elementary schools in Pingtung is at middle level. And among many layers of the computerized administration, the Design of Data Processing performs the best.
Video Compression Technology, Document Processes and Network of Communication are yet satisfying ; Speech Processing and the Approaches of Corporate Training and Education needs improvement.
3. There are distinct differences in the network administrators’ information literacy and computerized school administration according to many variates such as their background, environments, school’s background and environments.
4. The information literacy is relative to school administration computerization.
5. The network administrators’ information literacy has great impact on school network of communication and it is also relative to the he design of data processing, video compression technology, document processes. The better literacy they have, the more computerized school administration will be raised.
6. Pingtung Network Center needs Pingtung County Government to offer more resources for changing and planning our future Information Education such as planning Information Education, purchasing hardware and software, server java, building Website Modules and training the network administrations.
