Many scholars study KM from different perspectives. The available literatures of KM mainly focus on its infrastructure, as well as mention the measurement of KM performance. However, the infrastructure of KM relates to the inputs of the KM system and the measurement of KM performance solely concerns the output of the system. Obviously, the throughput between inflow and outflow of the KM system is ignored. Knowledge management strategy should be a crucial role in planning and implementing the KM since it can influence and motivate employees’attitude, behavior and ability. On the other hand, human resource control and organization structure is another variable which can create an atmosphere and environment in gathering, creating, and sharing knowledge and information among employees. Finally, whether the KM can improve the possibility of attaining business strategy is the focus and objective among most of the advocators of KM. Therefore, these three situation factors mentioned above were employed to examine their relationships with KM respectively. The questionnaire survey was taken to gather relevant information about the research variables. Multivariate statistical analysis, such as regression, and Pearson product-moment correlation, was employed in this study to test research hypotheses. Our findings are listed below: 1. Organization structure has relationship with knowledge property. If company has more tacit knowledge, it will tend to adopt decentralization. 2. Human resource control has relationship with knowledge property. If company has more tacit knowledge, the firm will tend to adopt input control. 3. Organization structure will affect KM strategy. If company adopts personalization KM strategy, it will tend to adopt decentralization. 4. Human resource control will affect KM strategy. If company adopts personalization KM strategy, it will tend to adopt input control. 5. The consistency between knowledge property, KM strategy , organization structure and human resource control can improve knowledge transfer performance. The knowledge transfer performance in fit group is significantly higher than its counterpart in Non-fit group. none Yao-Sheng Liao 黃財源 廖曜生 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 107 zh-TW
