Like “what is humanity”, “humanity is from what” Hotly debated issues, such as contemporary technology, consumption, globalization …etc have become more and more complicated. Ambiguity of mutation has eliminated the border of creature and inclusion of creature. It is difficult to classify the category of humanity. In the circumstances of switch of identity, what situation human will encounter? Situation of ambiguity whether implicates the desire of humanity towards the paradoxical regression of original. The subject of the research consists of five main points: 1.Introduction and Instruction for Chinese-American artist, Daniel lee’s background and the transition of his art works. 2.According to “the conception of face”, try to ponder the impacts generated by the combination and switching identity of humanity-animal. 3.In Daniel lee’s production, he utilized the style of post-classification, which analyze the Altars, the totems, the quality implied religion in frame. 4.Probe into Daniel lee’s image, whose constructions of desires further going to the relationship between the metropolis and the images. 5.Discussion that the transition from “animal-human”to“human-animal”, and further discussing contemporary the condition of non-humanity, which sparks the conversation with high-technology in Daniel lee’s digital images.
