Throughout the Narrative Approach Career Exploration Group Counseling, senior high students tell their life experiences by looking back their life. In the process of co-constructing, deconstructing and reconstructing the events in their life, the researcher tries to understand and looks at the events in context. The group members in this research are eight students who are in their last year of senior high school and are under a lot of stress because of the coming College & University Entrance Examination. This study, based on the narrative inquiry thesis, focuses on the data analysis of context attribute (holistic-categorical), and the data analysis of category attribute (content-form) as well. After understanding and interpreting their stories, the researcher found that the narrative of each event had its very distinct context development and its very own key theme. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1. The key themes extracted from the important events in the group processing are (a) to co-construct the meaning of individual life experience in the group, (b) to alter the original idea about life and give new meaning to it, (c) to generate the power of career exploration, and (d) to have the belief in solving the life problem by oneself. 2. The feedback from all group members shows that the distinguishing feature and meaning of the group are (a) to accompany the group members to get through the narrative of his/ her life experiences, (b) to lead the group members to reconstruct the narrative of his/ her future career, (c) to focus on the change of I position of the group members, and (d) to enrich the narrative of the life story of the group members. 3. The life themes of self found from the life stories of the group members include (a) to keep their best friend company, (b) to be free from the restriction of fatalism, (c) to learn to be at peace with silence, (d) to integrate the inner and outer resources, (e) to transform an old self into a new one, (f) to seek one’s own life style, (g) to give somebody a helping hand , and (h) to develop one’s potentiality and creativity. 4. The influential factors of the group members’ career context are (a) the atmosphere of the family of origin molds the development of self-concept, (b) the important events in life deepens one’s anticipation of career development, (c) the learning from peak experience consolidates one’s foundation of career development, (d) the influence of important others guides one’s way of career development, and (f) the anticipation of self-growth promotes one’s power of career development. The practical suggestions based on the results of this research will be proposed and be applied to the field of the reference for further study, the career counseling of senior high school students, and the work of counseling.
