| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 95 === This paper aims at researching on the present of the current college student’s parental belief, values of children and parental role of commit-
ment in the southern Taiwan area. Furthermore, it discusses if the differ-
ences of parental belief, values of children and parental role of commit-
ment exist among students with different background. Through research results, the paper expects to conclude a concrete statement and suggest-
ions as a useful reference for the school and community, college student and student’s parents, government and other researchers.
This thesis mainly adopts questionnaire survey. There are four parts in questionnaire survey including personal information, parental belief measure, values of children measure and parental role of commitment measure. Distributing 1000 questionnaires, there are 968 questionnaires availed. It results in 96.8 valid data. All data collected from investigation will be analyzed and discussed by some traditional means such as frequency distribution, same sample t test, one way analysis of variance, Scheffe’ method, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, multiple stepwise regression, etc. Finally, some conclusions and suggestions are employed.
