If there are appropriate management systems for monitoring and controlling, it is helpful to the efficiency of those equipments.
In the IP network, the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) has become the Internet standard and has generally been adopted by lots of equipment supplier as a network management protocol. After that, the SNMP proxy agent architecture can be used as a framework in order to manage the equipments that do not have the ability to be monitored through the IP networks. Besides, systems that set up by open source software and free computer language could reduce the development cost in the early stage and the maintenance expenditure in the future. According to the above purposes, this thesis will set up a network management system for the equipments that do not support the IP network and explore its feasibility through implementation.
