Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 應用日語所 === 95 === According to the prevalence of the internet and the progress of high-technology, there is a great deal of innovations which are derived from the Internet. For example: E-learning material is one of the products facilitated by the improvement of the internet technology. In the past, the traditional instruction in the classroom restricts the students’ leaning due to the limitation of time and space. The convenience of the network stirred people to consider how to integrate the internet technology, the software relevant to the network application and the language learning. Moreover, we develop the language learning material which can provide a web-based learning environment for the learners. The study comprises following five chapters: Chapter 1: The aim of this chapter is to discuss the motivation, the purpose and the research method of the study. Chapter 2: In this chapter, it demonstrates the development of the Web-based instruction for Japanese learning. Chapter 3: By way of the three processes-“Analysis”,“Design” and “Development”, I design and build “The Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material” for the beginners. Chapter 4: Based on the two processes -“Implementation”and “Evaluation”, “The Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material” will be experimented online by the Japanese learners and the experts in order to assess the goal achievement of this material. Chapter 5: Eventually, it will summarize the research result and provide the suggestion for improving the Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material for the beginner. The objects of this study target at the Japanese beginning learners. The following six points were checked as a result of the study. (1) The Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material is suitable for self-instruction. (2) The animation can develop learners’ interest. (3) Feedback provision can encourage learners’learning motivation. (4) Learners dislike the over-complicated operating process. (5) The Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material integrates with the learning contents and the games which can increase Japanese ability. (6) There are the distinct levels of acceptance for The Web-based Japanese Vocabulary Material from the objects owning the different learning backgrounds.
