Samples were characterized in terms of major compounds (Cu, Zn, NI, Cd, Cr, Pb, Fe and Al); total N, P, oil and phenol contents; organic matter; water content and particle size. Total metal contents were assessed pollution levels by Enrichment factor (EF) and Sediment Quality Guidelines (SQGs). The modified BCR three-step sequential extraction procedure (BCR-SEP) was applied to assess mobility in the different extracts. The highest metal concentrations were observed in midstream of river. The pollution levels were present serious by EF and the effect range-medium 69.8 - 83.7% by SQGs. The mobile metal were found in Cu, Zn, Ni, Cd and Pb by BCR-SEP.
