The reading blog implementation was implemented in accordance with elementary school students’ needs and the interviews with elementary school students were conducted to study the satisfaction of reading blog service. The results of this research are as following: a. “Reading Blog” Implementing Procedure: a.1 The blog software, called "Dr. Lee P2P", is suitable for reading blog implementation. a.2 For the “Reading Blog” contents, in order to implement a blog to meet both instructors and students’ expectations, it is important to consult and discuss with both class instructors and students for blog contents and details. b. The Current Situation of Students Using “Reading Blog” b.1 The blog weekly login frequency for each student is more than 1 time per week. b.2 Students always visit “Reading Community” for browsing or leaving messages. b.3 The texts or difficult contents would lower student’s blog visiting frequency. c. The Student Satisfaction for Using “Reading Blog”: c.1 Students like to use “Reading Blog”. c.2 The reason for most of students did not like to use the blog were that the contents were too difficult to understand. d. The Learning Status of Student Using “Reading Blog”: d.1 Students and parents believe that the “Reading Blog” improve students’ reading behaviors and attitudes. However, teachers could not confirm that if the “Reading Blog” altered students’ reading attitudes. d.2 After using “Reading Blog”, most of students believe they like reading more than before. Most of teachers believe that students have significant improvement in both communication and writing. Parents believe that students will actively read books other than text book at home. According to the discoveries and conclusions, this research contributed to the field of related research for further studies. - By implementing blog contents for parents, it will enhance the blog usages to achieve the perfection. - By enhancing the communication and co-operation with class instructors, it will improve the reading behavior development. - By implementing the reward and penalty system, it will trigger students’ motivations to use the blog. - By enhancing the comment and reply functions, it will inspire the thinking and discussions. It creates a progressive reading improvement. - By enhancing teachers’ and students’ ability of using RSS, reading will become easy.
