Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育心理與諮商學系碩士班 === 95 === The value of life does not lie in the length but rather in the quality and in the point of whether we can be the master of our own. This story describes that a female teacher, after escaping from her primary family, believes that there will be an ideal marriage life waiting for her. However, a conflict of nurture between the mother and daughter-in-law breaks out after the trial of marriage, giving birth to a child and raising a child. The story exposes that how the female teacher sees clearly the oppression which stems from the society, culture, education and rules and how she liberates herself and reconstructs her self-value after being trough the process of passivity, initiation, looseness and awakening. This story reflects that the hegemonic culture which we adopt it and take it for granted still dominates nowaday society and how much effort that we have to pay in order to return back to the origin of life. As a woman, we have to discard the stereotype which originates from the patriarchy society and from the maternal love and duty. We have to confront with the oppression and challenge in order to regain our own dignity and self-value and try hard to be a naïve and simple person as well.
