Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人資處音樂教學碩士班 === 95 === Abstract The purpose of this research is to discuss the feasibility and the suitability of utilizing Debussy’s works in music appreciation curriculum for the first and the second grade students in elementary school. Through action research, this research provides suggestions for further researchers about the difficulties and the solutions of this approach. This research is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the research purpose, motivation, range and methodology are explained. The second chapter illustrates Debussy’s biography and his works. In addition, the music appreciation teaching theories and the present curriculum are introduced in this chapter. The third chapter describes the implementation of this action research. The fourth chapter analyzes and examines the process and results. In the end of this study, the fifth chapter makes conclusion and the suggestions of this topic. According to the results of this research, taking Debussy’s works as the topic of music appreciation curriculum, facilitators guide students with authentic articles, games, multimedia and other simple but profound ways in integrated curriculum, students will keep high learning motivation and, moreover, create their own works to express their affection. Therefore, the feasibility of this approach is respectable. Utilizing Debussy’s works in music appreciation curriculum could be a key bridge to help students to connect classical music and modern music. Hopefully, the research could provide a direction for further researchers or educators in the field as a reference to extend this topic. Key words:Debussy’s works、music appreciation
