In addition to build up a series of integrated visual art curriculum to be referred to nearby schools, this study also comes to the following conclusions based on the artwork comparison of control group and experimental group as well as the analysis from worksheets of the influences of community cultural resources to students’ aesthetic experiences: I、 “Community-oriented art education” is regarded as an important part in contemporary art education, and this has many similarities with the content and goals of art and humanity area course of our ongoing grade 1- 9 curriculum. Therefore, this is the base of the implement of visual art. II、 Community cultural resources can offer different teaching surroundings to visual art education, so as to extend art teaching from classrooms to outdoors, to offer diverse learning methods as well as local content, since they embrace community surroundings and culture into teaching, thus, making the development of art education more complete. III、According the factors of landscape compositions and the curriculum characteristics of “community-oriented art education,” the content of visual art education that Po-an Temple can be applied to include: 1. landscape , 2. man made , 3. humanity, 4. environmental aspect, 5. psycholoy. IV、The curriculum that this study designed is centered around the topic, “ the architect of Po-an Temple, decorative art and Po-sheng cultural festival activities.” It merges the characteristics of application, links multiple learning content, presents net-shaped “topic-integrated”model. V、 Visual art education ought to make good use of community cultural resources to enhance students’ aesthetic experiences, through hands-on exploration activities; thus, to upgrade their aesthetics and the performances on creativity. Finally, based on its research result, this study offers the following suggestions for visual art curriculum design, teachers implementing the course, school administrators, educational authorities, and the following researches.
