Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 應用科學系碩士班 === 95 === This study purported to investigate the effects of science game on improving the attention for students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), including focused attention, sustained attention, attention span , switch and speed attention. A multiple baseline across subject research design was used in this study. Three students who were fourth-grade and fifth-grade with ADHD were taught. Data was analyzed with visual analysis , further tested with the simplified time-series C statistic, digital video observation and teaching feedback sheet. Teaching materials of Baseline Phase and Maintenance Phase were refer to versions of Science texts, and teaching materials of Intervention phase were science games chosen and designed by researcher.
The results of this study were as follow:
1. All the three students with ADHD improved on their focused attention
by science game.
2. All the three students with ADHD improved on their sustained attention by science game.
3. All the three students with ADHD improved on their attention span by science game.
4. All the three students with ADHD improved on their switch and speed attention by science game.
