In this thesis, we investigate the coverage of the DVBT system with single frequency network (SFN) by the field measurement and the threshold setting. According to the experiment results for the SFN, we have to raise the threshold set in the multiple frequencies network (MFN) to achieve the coded bit error rate of 2e-4. In the SFN, the two main path signals from the two separated base stations degrade the receiver performance due to their time delay and the power ratio. We plot the relationship between the performance degradation and the time delay of the two main path signals. The performance degradation increases as the time delay increases. On the other hand, we also plot the performance degradation versus the power ratio of the two main path signals. The performance degradation increases as the power ratio approaches to one.
