FACDSS will generate the best strategy for fighter’s pilot to ensure that the fight has the best condition in an air combat environment. The best strategy of the FACDSS must use the peak performance of fighter and pilot’s physical limits to enhance the advantages of the fighter in an air combat environment. In the IAFACDSS, we use fuzzy inference system (FIS) as intelligent decision-making mechanism that takes into account of human thinking ability and pilot physical limitations. Before executing FIS process, every future position corresponding to pilot’s decision-making space of fighter and an enemy’s fighter future position must be predicted. The paper assumes that FACDSS will accurately predict an enemy fighter’s future position. Then IAFACDSS applies the predicted data to generate the best control command through FIS. We verify the proposed algorithm with a set of fighter flying data that is used as enemy fighter’s flying trajectory. We added the various delay time of the control command and performance limitation to the fighter flying model in order to achieve the real fighter’s reaction. The simulation results demonstrate that FACDSS will enable the fighter to obtain the best condition in an air combat environment, thus effectively achieving the object for developing IAFACDSS.
