Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 資訊工程學系 === 95 === This thesis presents data hiding schemes for lossless compression of medical images. The scheme is based on the vertex representation of 3D model, considering the vertex index as a message block and embedding the message in vertices by rearranging the vertex index in ordered vertex list of a 3D cover model. We propose two embedding procedures, dynamic segmentation (DS) and static segmentation (SS) embedding methods, each best for a respective type of message distribution. The performance of the proposed approaches, for the lossless compression of medical image sets, such as MRI, CT, and PET, is evaluated and compared with the DICOM raw and lossless JPEG images respectively. The proposed schemes compress the input medical image set and have smaller file size. With size reducing, the proposed methods save the storage space requirement much.
