We usually use the ray-tracing to trace where the photons are located when simulating the phenomenon of caustics and take actions for each of photon. In this thesis, we count the ray-surface intersection in the image space for decreasing the cost of the intersection. Also, instead of using uniform sampling, we adaptively sample photons when necessary based on proposed assumptions. By our ways, it is completely effective and easy to use less sampling but present similar results to that of higher sampling. Wen-Kai Tai 戴文凱 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 105 en_US
