Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 國際企業學系 === 95 === This study investigates whether partner characteristics (including interdependence, cultural compatibility and relative influence) can indirectly affect the alliance performance (including goal accomplishment and relational harmony) of international strategic alliances through relationship capital (including mutual trust, information sharing and reciprocal commitment). The sample for this research consisted of the forward 1000 tourist agencies in Taiwan on the basis of capital. The LISREL model was used to verify the causal relationships among all variables. The empirical results indicate that partner characteristics indirectly influence alliance performance through relationship capital. Furthermore, the research findings also suggest that the two variables of cultural compatibility and reciprocal commitment play more important roles in affecting the alliance performance than the other variables.
