碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 體育與健康休閒研究所 === 95 === The Study of Need and Obstacles for Leisure Sports Participation State of Play in Care and Nursing Institution – Example of Gao-Xiong and Bing-Dong areas Abstract This study aims at understanding leisure sports course arrangement for nowadays care and nursing institution, state of play, needs and obstacles for the inhabitants who engage in leisure sports. Questionnaires investigation method is applied in this study. Self-designed leisure sports participation state of play and need questionnaire is adopted as studying tool. The study scopes for nursing and care institution are in Gaoxiong and Bindong areas. 15 institutions are selected randomly as the study subjects. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to analyze subjects’ basic data. T-test and one-way ANOVA is applied to differ and compare different inhabitants population background as variables which involves in leisure sports course engagement. The result shows, 1.For nursing and care institution inhabitants participating in leisure sports events. According to proportion, top 5 are stroll, stretching, outdoors recreation, gigong and outing. 2.For weekly frequency of nursing and care institution inhabitants participating in leisure sports. Top 5 are Chinese martial arts, jogging, stroll, golf and heavy-weight training. 3.For averagely each engagement time of nursing and care institution inhabitants participating in leisure sports. Top 5 are fishing, social dance, mountain climbing, swimming and hot spring bathing. 4. For nursing and care institution inhabitants’ recognition of coach’s instruction. Top 5 are stretching, gigong, yuanji dance, social dance and folk dance. 5.Nursing and care institution inhabitants’ recognition of place and equipment provided by nursing and care institution. Top 5 are stroll, stretching, Gigong, table tennis, billiard, outing 6.For the most wanted leisure sports events in nursing and care institution. Top 5 are tai-chi, badminton, folk dance, gigong which includes waidan-gong、xiang-gong, social dance, swimming 7.Obstructing factors that keep nursing and care institution inhabitants from participating in leisure sports. Top 5 are physical health condition, lack of sports skill, other reasons, no appropriate exercise events, facility problems, Drop down of nursing and care institution inhabitants’ engagement interests, the factors are physical fitness is not capable to deal with too difficult sports skills learning, other reasons, no company, expense is too high to afford.
