Fourteen traits of progenies were investigated (including leaf span, leaf length, leaf width, leaf number, stalk number, stalk diameter, stalk length, inflorescence length, total stalk length, first flower node number, number of branch, flower number on inflorescence, total flower number and flower diameter) shows non-significant variation (P = 0.01) on stalk length, first flower node number, number of branch and flower diameter, and shows significant variation (P = 0.01) on the other ten characters of positive and inverse hybrids between Phal. Brother Stage ‘#1’ and Phal. Sunrise Red Peoker ‘#1’. It is presumed that cytoplasmic inheritance involve in these ten characters of these progenies. In addition, according to the investigatory results of harlequin Phalaenopssis. It exhibits that both reciprocal cross progenies between Phal. Brother Stage ‘#1’ (non-harlequin type) and Phal. Sunrise Red Peoker ‘#1’(non-harlequin type) is non-harlequin type as their parents. But the progenies between Phal. Sunrise Red Peoker ‘#2’ which is a harlequin type and other non-harlequin type (Phal. Brother Stage ‘#1’, Phal. I-Hsin Peacock ‘KHM063’, Phal. Ching Her Buddha ‘KHM128’ and Phal. Fashion Little Star ‘#1’) have produced 99, 24, 87 and 11 daughter plants of harlequin type respectively; then 100, 19, 101 and 16 daughter plants of non-harlequin type respectively. It corresponds with 1:1 genetic segregation ratio by chi-square goodness-of-fit test (χ2 (obtained) = 0.005, 0.581, 1.043 and 0.581 respectively, all less than χ2 (critical) = 3.841, def = 1, P = 0.05 ). Besides, the backcross between Phal. Sunrise Red Peoker ‘#2’ and Phal. Golden Peoker ‘BL’ which is its maternal parent have produced 48 and 15 daughter plants of harlequin type and non-harlequin type, respectively. This result corresponds with 3:1 genetic segregation ratio by chi-square goodness-of-fit test (χ2 (obtained) = 0.048, less than χ2 (critical) = 3.841, def = 1, P = 0.05 ). It suggests that harlequin type is dominant to non-harlequin type on phenotype of Phalaenopsis flower, and is controlled by an allele possibly. In addition, the result of test on three progenies ( Phal. Sunrise Red Peoker ‘#2’ as male parents; Phal. Brother Stage ‘#1’, Phal. I-Hsin Peacock ‘KHM063’ and Phal. Ching Her Buddha ‘KHM128’ as maternal parents dividedly ) displays that its heritability depends on different variety. 沈再木 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW |
