In order to drive a permanent-magnet ac servo motor, an ac inverter for driving inductance is adopted, and a rotor position detection technique is applied to construct a permanent-magnet ac servo motor driver. Experiment shows that 10% ~ 100% full speed run is achieved by the developed driver system.
