Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 95 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships between learning motivation and learning strategies of the automechanic students for practicum course in vocational high schools in Taiwan. The proportional stratified random sampling method was used to collect data from 1,500 samples. The number of valid questionnaires was 1,372, with a return rate of 91.47%. The research hypothesis was a test using the following statistical methods including: percentage, mean, standard, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffé comparison, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and multiple-regression analysis. The major conclusions were: 1. The students of Grade 1 have higher learning motivation than those of Grade 3. The students of Grade 1 use learning strategies more frequently than those of Grade 2 and 3. 2. Students had higher learning motivation of “Task Value” and “Expectancy For Success”. The students use learning strategies more frequently in the dimensions of “Information management and effort strategies“ and ”Cognition strategies”. 3. The students with upper social economic status have more learning motivation than those with lower. 4. The public students in northern Taiwan use less learning strategies for practicum course than others. 5. Students' learning strategies were not significantly different among various group of students of school location and type. Besides, the students' learning strategies showed no significant difference in the variable of S.E.S.. 6. The automechanic students who make the career planning in advance had better learning strategies and learning motivation than those who don’t make the career planning yet. 7. There was significant relationship between automechanic students’ learning motivation and learning strategies for practicum course in vocational high schools in Taiwan. 8. The learning motivation of the automechanic students for practicum course can predict learning strategies effectively in vocational high schools in Taiwan. Finally, according to these findings some suggestions were drawn for the education administration, the automechanic teachers of vocational high school, the automechanic students of vocational high school, and researchers in the future.
