This study was to investigate family social-economic status and career development of students in industrial vocational senior high schools. The purpose were to realize the impact of sex attributes, grade, study field, school location and family social-economic status on career development, it investigated the relationship between career exploration and career attitude of students in industrial vocational senior high schools.
The main research method was questionnaire investigation.The subjects were 1868 students chosen by random cluster sampling from Taiwan. All those data had been analyzed by the method of descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation analysis.
Summary of the results were as follows: 1. The industrial vocational senior high school students need to promote their career exploration. 2. Career attitude of students should be strengthened. 3. Significant relationships existed between career development exploration and attitude, and some independent variables.
4. There was a positive relationship between the student’s career exploration and their career attitude. 5. The career development education of the industrial vocational senior high school students should be planned, and kept up to date.
