There were 9 categories as reasons for continuation including: (1) maintaining and enhancing health and fitness; (2) enriching life experiences: (3) facilitating social relationship; (4) promoting life qualities; (5) gaining social supports; (6) self interests; (7) expanding knowledge; (8) promoting self; (9) refining mind and intelligence. All these reasons made participants considering the most import drives for continuation. 3. In terms perceived benefits of leisure sports participation, participants identified 19 categories as follows: (1) promoting life enjoyment; (2) enriching life contents; (3) enriching life experiences; (4) enhancing vigor and emotion; (5) balancing life experiences; (6) enhancing health and fitness; (7) enlightening mind and intelligence; (8) promoting family life quality;(9)facilitating interpersonal relationship;(10) cultivating life environment protection attitudes; (11) integrating life contents; (12) open one’s vision through activity processes; (13) fulfilling one’s potentials; (14) appreciating the beauty of life; (15) acknowledging the meaning of leisure activity; (16) sharing and appreciation; (17) enhancing self concept; and (18) self actualization. According to these results, this study proposed several leisure sports planning strategies for related institutions and policy makers. Also, this study suggested several directions for the future studies. Jiun-Shiung Gau 高俊雄 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 183 zh-TW |
