This research was aimed at using 3D animation in presenting the game instead of tradition static text and pictorial records. It was hoped that fans can enjoy and gather information in an easy and rapid way, the players can have an impressive memory and the records can be vivid screen pictures. The documentary analysis techniques was used to congregate related information such as baseball hand-recording methods, baseball digital-recording methods, 3D/VR and on-line broadcast. The inquiry study method was done on 3D/VR specialists, recorder, and fans to ascertain the requests. The systematic development method was used to build up the proposing system. The 3D Max and MotionBuilder were used to develop and integrate 3D model and motion, xxx PHP for recording interface design, Quest3D for broadcasting system development and MYSQL for supporting database. The “3D/VR Dynamic Simulated Baseball Games On-line Broadcast System” was evaluated on line by a group of 60 persons including baseball specialists and fans. The results were as follow: 1. On visual interface design, 95 % agree that the explanation is clear. 2. On broadcasting interface design, 95% agree that 3D/VR is suitable for baseball game on-line telecasting. 3. On operating design, all the evaluators agree that the menu design is convenience for the users to watch the game rapidly. Following conclusions were made: The designed system can achieve 1. Convenient operation design enables the public to easily relish the outstanding performances during the game. 2. With saved game records, broadcast time can be shortened, which also makes it possible (for the audience) browsing through the splendid movement in shorter time. 3D/VR is suitable for on-line baseball game broadcasting.
