In this thesis, these two techniques are combined to optimize the performance and the adaptive QoS (quality-of-service) is exploited with this combination to speed the process in the optimization. Two algorithms are studied: the fine-tuning and the fast-activation. In the fine-tuning, an iterative method is used to adjust the SINR (signal to interference and noise ratio) target according to the channel condition and each user’s service type so that the SINR can approach the SINR target. In the fast-activation, a less complicated procedure is used to save the time required for obtaining the power and the antenna weight when a new user accesses the network. Simulation results show that the fine-tuning gets better performance than the scheme with the fixed SINR target. It is also found from simulation results that the fast-activation algorithm can save the required time when a new user enters the network. Moreover, we also discuss the converging time for the variation of the SINR target. Jui-Teng Wang 王瑞騰 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 51 zh-TW
