First we establish a simulated hospital and the user can play as a doctor’s role in it to diagnose a virtual patient. In the system, the user may ask the patient some questions about their medical history, present illness, and so on, and perform some examinations. They can make a diagnosis and give treatments based on a medical decision making tree. The users can use some tools to draw the patient’s pedigree. The system also simulate the situation of a virtual patient in the emergency room. The system also provides a tool for the user to cut through a human body model to learn some anatomical knowledge when it is needed. We demonstrate how to apply our system in some fields other than medical science. For example, the employees can learn how to handle the incidents in a factory in our simulation system.
