This research uses survey as manner to understand the relationship between work values, quality of work life and professional commitment, group practice among medical doctors. Through the list from Taiwan Medical Association Member Booklet 2007, we mailed out surveys to many hospitals and medical clinics in Taiwan. After screening doctors with incomplete information, we use purposive sampling as research manner and take the six branches of Bureau of National Health Insurance as the survey sample. Each area has 200 doctors as research samples, and each survey had been sent to doctor’s offices by mails. We had sent out 1200 survey in March 2007 and received 248 surveys back until April 2007. Except 23 concept incomplete survey, we have collected 225 surveys in total with return rate as 18.75%.
Through effective factors and the methods of reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, analysis of variance, analysis of path, we have learned results as following:
1. Work values factor can cause affection to professional commitment and group practice; however, it doesn’t effect group practice through professional commitment as an intermediary role.
2. Quality of work life factor can cause affection to professional commitment and group practice; however, it doesn’t effect group practice through professional commitment as an intermediary role.
3. Professional commitment factor causes affection to group practice.
