After questionnaire survey, we collected 400 questionnaires, and 284 of whom were effective. The data analyzed by descriptive analysis, factor analysis, reliability and validity analysis, independent sample t test, analysis of variance and structural equation model. This study had collected the valid samples from Taiwan manufacturing industry and used the statistical analytical approaches to research the relationship among paternalistic leadership, trust,orgainization commitment and leadership effectivenes. The results showed that: 1.There exists significant effect among paternalistic leadership, trust, orgainization commitment and leadership effectiveness. 2.Significant differences were found in orgainization commitment and leadership effectiveness at their demographic variables. 3.The mediating effect of trust existed between the paternalistic leadership and leadership effectiveness. 4.The mediating effect of orgainization commitment existed between the paternalistic leadership and leadership effectiveness.
