碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 高階管理碩士在職專班 === 95 === The high-tech industries with technology as the main production factor bring the great economic growth around the world. Software industry is one of the high-tech industries and there is potential profit in every market segment with the fast developing Internet application. This paper studies relationship among technological innovation strategy, network externality, industry environment and operating performance, take references from looking back domestic and international expert's scholar studies the standpoint and theories. This paper uses the Information Service Industry Association of R. O. C.（CISA）as research population, takes information software association recorded to show of group member of R.O.C in 2005 as sampling object. Descriptive statistics have been compiled on the valid questionnaires before a factor analysis, a reliability analysis, a correlation analysis and regression analysis, examination are made of the data. The major findings of this paper are summarized following:（1）An evident relationship exists between technological innovation strategy and operating performance;（2）An evident relationship exists between technological innovation strategy and industry environment;（3）An evident relationship exists between technological innovation strategy and network externality;（4）Network externality has clear effect as a medium between technological innovation strategy and operating performance.
