As mobile devices are widely adopted in various applications, the mobility and portability of mobile devices can accelerate the information flow and provide the immediate information for users. So, how to combine mobile devices with e-commerce are referred in many literatures. According to the MIC research, the global mobile communication users will reach 330 billions and 40% of the market share in 2010 after 3G service becomes prevalent. Due to the emergence of the new communication technology, the acceptance of VoIP and the drastic competition in the communication industry, it is difficult to keep customers’ loyalty or raise their revenue. Therefore, the mobile data services become the mainstream for the telecommunication industry. The advantage of VoIP not only reduces the cost and integrates the business communication network but also transform the business operational model. The objective of this research focuses on proposing a suitable architecture based on industrial characteristics, business processes and related capabilities for the mobile content service industry. In addition, this research constructs a prototype system of this architecture and displays that enterprises can earn more profits, users can save their communication cost and company can enhance the utilization rate of mobile content services. This research also analyzes the influence of VoIP in the mobile content industry value chain. In comparison the original system with the prototype one, it verifies the effectiveness of VoIP technology in the mobile content service industry. Finally, the prototype system provides a reference for the mobile content service industry and it is worth more future research on the post-implementation of VoIP.
