It needs for the study in order to understand the processes for modern products focusing on light weight, thin thickness, small volume and micro feature. This research uses a rectangle micro channel to study the behavior of mold filling in injection molding. By vary injection speed, the effect on filling of micro channels are investigated. The result shows filling distance of the polymer in micro channel increases linearly with the increase of the inlet pressure. On the other hand, filling distance of the polymer in micro channel did not increase monotonically with the increase of injection speed. The simulation results show some difference from the experimental measurement. One of the major reason is the deformation of the mold plates, which leads to the variation of the cavity size. The mold deformation is identified to be a major factor that affects the dimension of the molding product in micro injection molding.
