Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 航空太空工程學系碩博士班 === 95 === topic:The Aerodynamic Analysis of Aerosonde Mark-III Worked in Longwang Typhoon student:Min-Feng Chang professor:Ching-Shiung Ho The traditional method in measuring wind field is with a set of the ground meteorological sensors added by satellite images. The method is good enough to construct a wide-area wind field. However, the resulting accuracy is questionable especially under strong tropical storms. A new tool in directly investigating wind field under typhoon has been developing. The tool is a mini platform carried by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with onboard MEMS meteorological sensors. This study investigates the meteorological and flight data from a UAV called Aerosonde Mark III flying through Longwang Typhoon. The main focus is on the aerodynamic analysis. The results show that the applied method is capable of estimating the drag, lift, and side force coefficients. The solutions are quite stable even under several wind conditions. However, the moment coefficients are hard to obtain due to lack of data. A simple method to estimate two-dimension (2D) wind speed and direction has been developed. The method requires three wind measurements with a least-square filter. The result shows that wind direction can be inferred with a slightly maneuvered flight path. As a result, the lack of wind direction sensor situation can be compensated.
