There are no direct air links between them due to the political differences. Currently, all the travelers across Taiwan Strait are still transit for some political reasons, so that the travelers are suffering lots of inconveniences. However, the business aircraft flights are much easier and simpler to start for the demands. In the initial stage, there are still the fewest political and technical matters by taking business aircrafts direct flight across Taiwan Strait.
On the basis of the research, the main purpose of business aviation for across Taiwan Strait is to construct the minimization of the total traveling time. Therefore, hub selection, business aircraft selection, and plan airline route are the primary works to study. After setting up the whole aviation network, we use the software to simulate the flight time and flight distance, and comparing with the current flight model between two sides to discuss and verify the feasibility of the scheme.
Making Taiwan to be the pivot of business aviation in Asian-Pacific area, we must to be liberalizing in business aviation, planning the business aviation center to deal with the relevant affairs by the exclusive organization. This thesis takes TaoYuan International Airport and Taipei International Airport as two examples, including airport scale and present situation, planning the immigrant move line, CIQS, other operation, etc. This research proposes that Taipei airport has the advantages to develop business aviation; it deserves our attention and discuss.
It has shown that these airports with higher market worth and conform to expectancy of industry. Business aircraft direct flight across Taiwan Strait would be the huge travel time saving. In the future, the first step to direct flight across Taiwan Strait can begin from the business aviation which is easily management and more economical for the improvement of the economic.
