碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系碩博士班 === 95 === In the past, Hamasen Community of Kaohsiung City was the major place of business in Kaohsiung City and made a noise in the world. However, the lack of the developing hinterland and the decrement of business caused the decline of Hamasen Community, and it became an area that was forgotten in the city. In order to revive the local economy, keep the culture, and reuse the free areas, the government has been introducing the tourism industry to Hamasen Community in the recent years, and expecting the revival of the economy. On the other hand, although the tourism industry has grown very well and improved the economy, there are more and more negative impact is growing. Therefore, how to take care of the quality of residence, improve the interference of the environment, and get the balance between each other will be very important to be concerned during the plan and administration. As the result, this research searches the influence of tourism impact on the local development by taking the efforts of country & city plan of Hamasen Community and the practical environment development. Focus on Hamasen Community, this research is going to take the local residents as the major source to search the cognition of tourism activity impact, and generalize the ideas about the local tourism development of the residents. Moreover, the research is also trying to search about the orientation of tourism development by using the relationship of tourism impact list and the attribute. The major result of the research shows that the causes of cognition of tourism impact in Hamasen Community are culture identification, community interruption, area development, industry development, taxation increasing, and public works. Residential period and residential area affect the cognition of tourism impact obviously. Moreover, Shauchuan Park and Shauchuan Landscape Front make obvious positive improvement in the local tourism development and the residential environment in Hamasen Community, and every construction has quite high using frequency. Also, most of the residents would like to protect their own places of historic interest, and have the positive recognition idea of the increase in the historical culture activities that come from the tourism industry. However, the traffic jam in weekends and holidays affect the residents’ willing of driving out, but the residents do not feel that the tourists’ activities invade them, so that it does not affect their active space.
