The coporations with knowledge management can always seize the opportunity of innovation. Therefore, understanding knowledge acquiring, knowledge creation, knowledge sharing, knowledge storage and the coordination of company’s management system is critical to corporation efficiency on knowledge creation, sharing and application to constantly keep innovation. Furthermore, scholars also address that knowledge management should match corporations’ strategy to have better innovation performance. The purpose of this thesis is to probe the differences among Business Strategy, Knowledge Management, and Innovation Performance, the correlations between Business Strategy and Knowledge Management, and the influence on Innovation Performance from Business Strategy, Knowledge Management. The thesis was based on the knowledge management theory from Nonaka & Takeuchi(1995) and Davenport(1998), business strategy theory from Miles & Snow(1978), innovation performance theory from Utterback(1994)、Lu, Hong Ta(1992) and Yen, Chuin Hua (1997), through literature review to set up research variables and structure, and analyze correlation of variables then propose hypothesis. The overall samples were surveys were 476 and from the survey returned, 100 (20.01%) were coded, then process analysis of variance, canonical correlation analysis and regression analysis. T he results shows as the followings: 1. Business management strategy or knowledge management has significant influence on innovation performance. 2. Knowledge management has significant positive influence on product innovation performance and R&D innovation performance. 3. Knowledge management is the mediating variable between Prospector Strategy and product innovation performance, R&D innovation performance. Some suggestions are offered to future domestic medical instruments and apparatus: 1. Strengthen research and development and the involvement of technology talents. 2. Adopt prospector business strategy and focus on research and development and innovation. 3. Develop new products and adopt diversification management. 4. Strengthen knowledge creation and structure knowledge management system via knowledge sharing. 5. Recruit high technology manpower and strengthen training programs ( train professionals in RD, production, quality control and international marketing) 6. Adopt global business strategy. 7. Suggest our government to assist our medical instruments and apparatus industry to become the focus in RD and marketing in Asia-Pacific region.
