The size-reducing is achieved by replacing a transmission line section to a T type equivalent circuit which consists of two shorter transmission lines and a shunt capacitor or an open stub. Based on this method, a center frequency at 915MHz one stage Wilkinson power divider prototype is designed and fabricated. The size reduces 73% and the operating bandwidth increases 3.3% compared with the conventional one. The circuit can be realized easily by using standard PCB etching processes.
