They have to consistently launch new products and shorten lead time against fast followers. Cost-down can hardly be the solution for industry management. This thesis aims to propose a better industrial strategy of intellectual property for Taiwan enterprisers, through the case study of Giant Bicycles.
The thesis will begin with the analysis of the industry structure, industrial chain, production and technology structure of Giant Bicycle, to further examine its management in the global market. The study will review the correlation between the industrial restructing and industry competitiveness in the case of Giant Bicycle. Moreover, it will as well analyze Giant’s success of industry upgrade, through its innovative R&D policy and IP strategy.
