A Study of campaign policy: the case analysis of the candidate Lu Ching-Yi in the Sixth District in Taipei City for 2006 Taipei City Council Election

The Tsu candidate Lu Ching-Yi in the Sixth District in Taipei City for 2006 Taipei City Council Election is the case of the study. It show mainly that How did the new candidate Lu Ching-Yi enter the election, plan and execute her campaign policy. Otherwise we analysis the cause of the election result.
The study was base on the for purposes: 1. In the fixed environment, how did the candidate evaluate herself and the district. 2. How did the candidate plan and execute her campaign policy. 3.How did the candidate revise her campaign policy in the changing environment and the going time. 4. To analysis the ins and outs of the election. The used signal case study, and the case is the candidate Lu Ching-Yi in the Sixth District in Taipei City for 2006 Taipei City Council Election. We try to analysis her from entering the election, planning her campaign policies and origination, and executing her campaign policies and election actions to the election result was known. We did our self to avoid the wrong and subjective annotation, by the course we used participant observation as main information researching method, and used in-depth interview, secondary analysis, and literature analysis to complement and to enhance objectivity.
The study completely described her election process in seven months. We analysis and probed for her campaign policies. Finally we probed for the election result and check the campaign policies. We found that she unfamiliar with the district and the problem in decision and excusing campaign policies…etc, to cause the result that she fail the campaign in 3,412 votes.
