The research includes getting involved in the course and studying the result of the teaching experiment and proposing to develop the course of life education for the students in Kinmen. The research method includes an experimental group of the seventh grade students that took this course and a control group from the same junior high school who did not take the course. The research tools used were the “Tennessee Self-concept Scale” and “Behavior Problem Scale” Both scales were given before and after the course. Results of the scale were compared in order to find out the effectiveness of the course. Upon completion of the course , the results were analyzed for quality materials according to ANOVA and quantity materials according to the unit worksheets, total feedback and semi-structured interview materials. The purpose is to examine the influence of the Course of Life Education on the students of Kinmen. The results obtained by the research is as follows: 1. There is a significant difference in test scores after completing the course in the areas of self-concept of the physiology、psychology and morals ethics. But there is no apparent difference in the area of social and family self-concept. 2. There is a significant difference in test scores after completing the course in the areas of behavior problems, school life, interpersonal relationships and personal growth and development. There is no apparent difference in the area of family life. 3. The information from experimental group showed that the quality is in accordance with the quantity.
